Summer's nearly over, some would say it never arrived. With Autumn, just round the corner, I'm hoping you all managed to have some time away from work, to relax and recuperate. And if you haven't, hope you have booked some time out before flu season starts

I'm sure many remember pre-COVID flu vaccination clinics, although busy were not too stressful, maybe the addition of pneumonia vaccine.

The importance of vaccinations has never been more apparent. In addition to COVID-19, influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) pose significant public health risks — especially during the colder months. Remember you are at the forefront of combating these viral illnesses through vaccination programmes, playing a critical role in safeguarding public health.

The logistics of administering multiple vaccines during the same visit—such as flu, COVID-19 boosters, and RSV—requires careful coordination. Ensuring patients receive the appropriate vaccines at the right time while managing any potential side effects. This added layer of complexity demands not only clinical expertise but also effective communication and time management skills.
