The National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has published updated guidance on type 1 diabetes in adults, with amended recommendations on blood pressure targets for this group of patients.

Eye care guide for non-specialists

The Royal College of Nursing has published a useful updated guide highlighting the importance of eye care, the role and responsibilities of the carer in delivering care, and accessing the right care at the right time. It has been developed for all non-ophthalmic nursing staff in adult care settings and covers emergency and non-emergency conditions.
